3.              Smoke Alarms: Vacuum them once a month, replace the batteries and
                  test the unit once a year.

1.              Do not touch electrical cords that are broken or have wire showing.  
                 If plugged into the wall, unplug immediately. 
2.             Do not play with electrical cords.
3.             Do not stick fingers or any other objects into light sockets,
                 appliances or electrical outlets.
4.             Do not overload outlets with too many plugs.
5.             Unplug appliances while holding on to the plug itself.
6.             Do not touch anything electrical while you are wet or standing in or 
                 near water.
7.             If a power line has fallen stay away from it and report it immediately.
